Dear Reader,

It is with much joy and anticipation that we have launched Gulf Malayalam Magazine. On behalf of our Editorial Team, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to the esteemed readers of Gulf Malayalam Magazine. It is our privilege to publish a magazine in Malayalam at this time, as our mother tongue has gained ‘Classical Status’, the coveted recognition to the language. 

Through this magazine, we are implementing a new concept in reading. Gulf Malayalam Magazine has all the ingredients which can make your reading times fruitful. It is a simple publication but with an extraordinary presentation. We are making a sincere effort to touch the life of each Pravasi Malayalee, by showcasing their true stories. I promise Gulf Malayalam Magazine will be a vehicle for cutting edge news and views on the most pressing issues of the Malayalee community here.

I take this opportunity to thank our authors, editors and anonymous reviewers, all of whom have volunteered to contribute to the success of the magazine. 

Finally, I wish to encourage more contributions from Pravasi Malayalee community in the Gulf to ensure a continued success of the magazine. Authors, reviewers and budding writers are always welcome. Also, I welcome comments and suggestions that could improve the quality of Gulf Malayalam Magazine.
